Product features:
Designed for loose-textured pavement substrates, with strong adhesion, low application amount, increases the adhesion between the marking and loose pavement, prevents peeling, increases plasticity, and delays cracking.
Scope of application:
Mainly applied on low-strength cement pavements and asphalt pavements that have been used for many years.
Usage precautions:
① New asphalt pavements should not be coated with base glue, but in sections of the asphalt pavement layer that are contaminated, base glue can be applied first to improve the adhesion between the pavement and the coating;
② Excessive or insufficient application of base glue will reduce the adhesion between the pavement and the coating. Adjust the dosage appropriately according to the pavement condition and the characteristics of the base glue, with a theoretical dosage of 0.15kg/㎡;
③ Marking work can only be carried out when the base glue is dry to the point of not sticking to tires and not adhering to dust and sand. Avoid marking when the base glue is not completely dry, as it can easily catch fire and cause the marking to peel off, especially severe in winter.
④ The curing time varies due to weather temperature, pavement temperature, humidity, wind strength, composition of the base glue, application amount, application method, and pavement water absorption. In winter, the time interval between base glue application and marking construction should be appropriately extended.
