What kind of environment is needed for hot melt wire coating construction?
【Summary Description】 At the current stage, hot melt line coating is quite common in the country. Although the drying speed of hot melt line coating is relatively fast, we need to consider one point. During construction, there are many relevant regulations regarding hot melt coatings. Old lines need to be manually removed, the road surface needs to be cleaned, hot melt road marking paint needs to be melted at high temperatures, and the hot melt road marking base glue (drying for 14 minutes) should be applied, followed by using a laser cutting engraving machine for marking.

The hot melt road marking paint needs to be melted at high temperatures, and the hot melt road marking base glue (drying for 14 minutes) should be applied, followed by using a laser cutting engraving machine for marking. The key to natural road traffic signs is that they must be applied to the ground, enduring sun exposure, rain, wind, snow, freezing, as well as collisions and friction from vehicles. Therefore, there are strict regulations on their characteristics. First, the drying time is short, and it is easy to operate, reducing the impact on traffic. Secondly, it requires strong reflective capability, bright colors, and good visibility both during the day and at night. In addition, it should have anti-slip and performance characteristics to ensure driving safety and service life. Various types of construction coatings and engineering construction methods for road signs should be selected based on the actual effects of hot melt line coatings, considering the standards for traffic signs.
Structural hot melt line paint marks and slow drying also have:
1. The standard working temperature is 23°C, and we need to understand this point. The drying time for hot melt line paint at 23°C is no more than 3 minutes. If the working temperature exceeds this temperature, the drying time will increase.
2. High ground temperature: After the marking coating is completed, due to the high ground temperature, the asphalt pavement temperature is relatively high in summer, reaching above 60 degrees. When the temperature of the hot melt marking paint drops to the same temperature as the crosswalk, it will not cool down. The signs will no longer be impatient. This situation is easy to occur at noon. The double yellow line in the middle of the ground is particularly severe because the sunlight in the middle of the road is long, and the heat is slowly dissipated.
3. The relative density of the paint itself is a problem. Using too many modifiers (such as leveling agents) to improve leveling and reduce construction coating costs will also lower the softening point of the marking paint, causing the hot melt marking paint to dry slowly and become loose.
